Web-sites divide themselves into three broad categories: Businesses, Organizations and Personal Web-sites.  We have a few of each of these kinds of sites that you may examine to give you some ideas:

Business Web-sites:

  1. A full-blown big-business web-site with company information with description of company's products and services, mission statement, key personal and other contacts, open positions, personnel policy, sales and service department contacts, a product catalog, order entry forms. a mailing list sign-up form, up-coming events including a detailed calendar, on-line product registration, etc.

  4. A business web-site that demonstrates the use of animation on its various web-pages.  An extremely nice/progressive look -- ideal for a company that wants to dazzle potential customers.

Organization Web-sites:

  1. A general club web-site including club news, up-coming events, an on-line new member sign-up form, etc.
  2. A newsletter web-site that is quite general and could be used with any individual, organization or business.
  3. A web-site designed to advertise a small town (or community) and its dining establishments, arts activities, lodgings, shopping, transportation and general information.

Personal Web-sites:

  1. A nice personal web-site displaying hobbies, vacation and other photos, etc.
  2. A family web-site displaying the activities and interests of a very active husband and wife.
  3. An extremely well-designed personal web-site showcasing the individual's experience, education, links to friends and other areas of interests, personal background, etc.
